India inks deal with 4 countries for bilateral RE cooperation promotion

It signed agreements with Australia, Finland, Germany, and the UAE.

India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has signed various agreements with Australia, Finland, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to promote bilateral cooperation in renewable energy.

In a statement, the ministry said that it signed a letter of intent with Australia’s Ministry of Industry, Energy and Emissions Reduction on 15 February 2022 as part of the bilateral cooperation.

It signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of the Republic of Finland on 29 April 2022.

A separate joint declaration of intent on the Indo-German Green Hydrogen Task Force and Renewable Energy Partnership was also signed with the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany was also signed on 2 May 2022.

Last 13 January 2023, a memorandum of understanding with UAE’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure for potential cooperation in green hydrogen development and investments.
