India's SECI opens bidding for 45.6-MW wind project in Andhra Pradesh
Bidders must supply wind turbine generators rated at a minimum of 3 MW.
Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has issued a Notice Inviting Tender for the construction of a 45.6 megawatt (MW) ISTS-connected wind power project at Ramagiri, Sri Sathya Sai District, Andhra Pradesh, under an EPC contract model.
The tender will be awarded through a single-stage double-envelope bidding process followed by an e-reverse auction.
Bidders must supply wind turbine generators (WTGs) rated at a minimum of 3 MW, operating at low voltage and 50 Hz, in upwind or downwind horizontal-axis configuration, listed under MNRE's ALMM-Wind register.
Power will interconnect at a 33-kV pooling switchgear incomer feeder.
Land acquisition falls under SECI's scope, with micro-siting already completed across 16 land parcels. Grid connectivity is also SECI's responsibility.
The winning contractor will have 14 months from contract award to commission the project, followed by a 10-year operations and maintenance term from the date of operational acceptance.
