J-Power starts work on its 19th wind farm in Japan

J-Power began work on a 20 megawatt wind power station in Uwajima, Ehime Prefecture, western Japan.

It will utilize nine turbines made by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd.

The firm didn't provide details on the cost.

J-Power has 18 operating wind farms across the country and expects the new plant to start in September 2014.
