Maldives seeks bids for up to 150 MW of solar power

This will include a battery storage facility.

The Ministry of Finance and Planning of Maldives has launched its tender for the installation of 100 megawatts (MW) to 150 MW of solar power project.

In its request for expression of interest, Maldives said the project, which will include a battery storage facility, will be located in the Greater Male’ region.

The solar project will be under a design, build, finance, own, operate, and transfer basis.

Those interested have until 27 February to submit their application.
