NEFIN completes solar PV project for Puratos in Malaysia

The carbon neutrality solutions provider has installed 638 solar PV panels.

Carbon neutrality solutions provider NEFIN has announced the completion of a solar PV project for bakery, patisserie, and chocolate ingredients manufacturer Puratos Group.

NEFIN has installed 628 solar PV panels which cover almost 14,778 sq ft of rooftop area above Puratos’ plant in Malaysia.

“Globally, Puratos emitted 100,000 tons of CO2 in 2018,” the manufacturer said.

Now, Puratos aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2025 and fully control water usage by 2030.
