NHPC and IOCL to develop various renewable projects in India and overseas

This will include pumped storage and hydro power.

NHPC and IOCL have inked an agreement for the development of different renewable energy projects in India and other countries.

In a statement, NHPC said the projects will be implemented under a joint venture.

The parties will explore opportunities for pumped storage, hydroelectric and other renewable energy projects in the country and overseas.

“The collaboration shall open new pathways for faster expansion of the renewable energy portfolio of both companies,” NHPC said.
