NLC India bags 810 MW grid-connected solar project in Rajasthan

Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Nigam Limited issued the tender for the project in December 2022.

State-owned NLC India secured the 810-megawatt (MW) solar power project from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Nigam Limited (RRVUNL), which will bring the power project in the state to 1.36 gigawatts (GW).

In a statement, the Ministry of Coal, which heads NLC India, said the state-owned company won the tender as it developed RRVUNL’s 2000 MW Ultra Mega Solar Park in the state.
