California-based Caelux Corp.’s solar modules can produce 20% more energy.

The partnership also includes pioneering a climate education. 

The government will be introducing a 25% rate on solar cells and 40% on solar modules in April.

It was launched by ReNew Power, UNEP, and SEWA. 

The market is slated to bring some 90GW of new solar capacity by 2031.

The project will produce 800GWh of clean energy annually.

This is mainly due to the 40% basic customs duty India levied on solar module imports.

Its capacity currently stands at 5,410 megawatts.

The projects will be developed in Karnataka, India.

The PLI scheme and the 2022 budget allocation could produce at least 40GW of solar modules.

Under the PLI scheme, India sought to promote and push the domestic PV module manufacturing.

A 25% rate on solar cells and 40% on solar modules will be introduced by April.
