NTPC Green unit inks deal for renewable projects in Goa

This will cover 300 MW or more clean power projects.

NTPC Green Energy Limited said its wholly owned subsidiary has signed an agreement for the development of 300 megawatts or more of renewable power in the state of Goa.

In a bourse filing, the company said NTPC Renewable Energy Limited’s (NTPC REL) memorandum of understanding with Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) will also cover energy storage projects in the state.

The deal was signed by Gauresh Ashok Pilgaonkar, managing director at GEDA and Pushpendra Tyagi, CFO at NTPC REL, in the presence.
