Three of the plants are diesel-powered.

The Philippines has issued four certificates of endorsement to the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) in April 2025.

According to the Department of Energy, the projects endorsed were the National Power Corporation’s Sibolo Diesel Power Plant and Jintotolo Diesel Power Plant, Amatera Renewable Energy Corporation’s Vista Alegre Solar Power Project, and Isabel Ancillary Services Co. Ltd’s Isabel Modular Diesel Power Plant.

Of these, one is an amendment and the rest are new applications.
