POWER-GEN Asia returns to Bangkok

POWER-GEN Asia, the premier conference and exhibition for the power generation and transmission and distribution industries, will return to Bangkok, Thailand, who last hosted the event in 2007.

From 7 to 9 October 2009, POWER-GEN Asia will receive over 6,000 industry professionals who will gather for three days to enjoy the industry’s leading conference and experience the latest developments and ideas for the future of the Asian power generation sector.

The state-of-the-art IMPACT Exhibition and Conference centre will host POWER-GEN Asia 2009 and will provide a great setting for this prestigious event.

The Ministry of Energy for Thailand has confirmed its support towards POWER-GEN Asia, along with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Metropolitan Electricity Authority, Provincial Electricity Authority, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organisation and the Thailand Exhibition & Convention Bureau -- organisations that are an intrinsic part of the power industry.

Event Director, Glenn Ensor, said, "We look forward to a successful conference and exhibition in Thailand this October and look forward to welcoming the power industry professionals from Thailand and across the ASEAN region to this annual gathering."
