Son La hydropower's 3rd turbine operational on Aug 25

The third turbine of Son La hydropower plant with designed capacity of 400 MW had been put into idle operation successfully.

 

It will officially be put into operation on August 25, joining the national grid and supplying additional 10 million KWh per day.

This was announced by the Electricity of Vietnam.

The first two turbines of the hydropower plant has supplied about 3 billion KWh to the national grid so far.

The three turbines of Son La hydropower plant supplies about 30 million KWh daily to the national grid.
