TNB to construct 400MW coal-fired power plant in Kalimantan, Indonesia

This is in partnership with Indonesia's PLN.

Tenaga Nasional Bhd announced it will build a 2x200MW coal-fired power plant in Kalimantan in partnership with Indonesian utility PT PLN.

Both parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the project. The MoU, valid for two years, will cover the supply and export of power from the proposed project to Sabah.
