NDPL projects energy sales of 6,892 MU in FY12
North Delhi Power Limited has projected its energy sales for FY 2011-12 at 6,892.13 million units.
This is based on the staff paper released by the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission against the distribution utility's ARR and tariff petition for the ongoing fiscal. This represents an 8% growth over the 6,381.61 MU in energy sales, reported for FY 2010-11.
Of the 6,892.13 MU estimated for the current fiscal, around 41%, or 2,809 MU, will be used for domestic consumption, which is about 7% higher over the energy sales estimates for last fiscal. Non-domestic users will make up about 18% of the total energy sales of NDMC for FY12, estimated to be around 1,237 MU, up 11% over the same period last year.
On the other hand, Industrial and Agricultural users will account for 2,197.17 MU and 22.21 MU of energy sales, respectively.
The Railways, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and street lighting will amount to another 346.59 MU of energy sales.
