NHPC surpasses generation target for the 1st quarter

The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation has again surpassed the 'Excellent' MoU generation target for the period April 2011-June 2011.

 

Total generation of the corporation stands at an impressive 6284 Million Units, against the 'Excellent' target of 5679 MUs. This means an excess of 10.7% over the set target and an increase of 10.5% over last year's generation for the same period.

In order to achieve an 'Excellent' rating for the year 2011-2012, the MoU has set a generation target of 18500 MUs of energy, as compared to last year's target of 18000 MUs.
