Advanced Energy, Bergen commission Indian solar plant

Advanced Energy Industries and Bergen Group has commissioned a 1MW ground-mount solar array in Haryana.

 

The solar plant, located in Kalanaur, will utilise two AE 500kW utility-scale inverters.

The commissioning is part of a sales and service partnership agreement between both companies.

"We see great opportunities in the Indian PV market and are pleased to be partnered with Advanced Energy, a leader in utility-scale inverter manufacturing,"said Bergen Group managing director and chairman Rajinder Kumar. "We are fully prepared to take up the responsibility to provide strong after sales support for installation, commissioning, warranty, and annual maintenance contracts."

The Jawaharlal Nehru national solar mission in India aims to achieve 20GW of installed solar power by 2020.
