Punj Loyd to provide EPC to 4 Indian water reacxtors

India's Punj Loyd will provide nuclear piping to four pressurised heavy water reactors in India.

 

 

An engineering, procurement and construction contract worth INR6.78bn or $151.05m has been secured by the company.

Work under the contract also includes erection and commissioning of nuclear equipment and piping for all the systems inside the nuclear reactor buildings.

Of the four PHWR, two are located at the Kakrapara Atomic Power Project in Gujarat and the other two are at the Rajasthan Atomic Power Project in Rajasthan.

Work is expected to be completed in four years.
