IREDA’s net profit up 27% in Q3 FY 2024-2025

This was backed by growth in revenue from operations.

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) has reported a 26.77% increase in its profit after tax, reaching INR 425.37 crore in the third quarter of fiscal year 2024-2025 from INR 335.54 crore a year earlier.

In a statement, the state-owned agency said its revenue from operations also grew 35.57% to INR 1,698.99 crore in the same period.

“The significant growth in loan sanctions, disbursements, and the expansion of our loan book highlight our pivotal role in financing sustainable energy projects,” said Pradip Kumar Das, CMD, IREDA.

“With a robust financial position and strong profitability as evidenced by our PAT, IREDA remains well-poised to drive the nation's green energy ambitions forward,” he added.
