Vinit Chitkara

Vinit Chitkara leads the energy function for Equinix across Asia Pacific and is responsible for the delivery of Equinix’s energy sustainability programme including renewable energy and carbon, energy procurement, and risk management. Prior to joining Equinix in 2021, he held similar roles across the public sector, mining, and manufacturing.

Chitkara has a decade of experience working across various markets in Asia Pacific and has previously worked with state-owned energy providers in Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and China. 

He holds a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and an MBA from Melbourne Business School.
