Suwanto and Lintang Ambar Pramesti

Suwanto is currently a manager of the Fossil Fuels, Hydrocarbon and Minerals (FOM) Department at the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) to support regional fossil fuels related works towards energy transition and sustainable development goals. 

He has over 10 years of professional working experience in diverse domains, including non-renewable energy industries, renewable energy, and other low-carbon technologies, extending from profit-driven ventures to non-profit sectors and from business to research activities.  

Suwanto holds a master’s degree from the University of Freiburg, Germany, majoring in Sustainable Systems Engineering.

Lintang Ambar Pramesti (Lintang) is a junior research analyst in the Fossil Fuels, Hydrocarbon, and Minerals (FOM) Department at the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE). 

She is actively involved in various initiatives aimed at advancing the region’s energy transition, with a particular focus on CCS/CCUS technologies, clean coal technologies, and the integration of these technologies with policy and regulation.

Her passion lies in integrating earth science, climate change, energy, and sustainable planning and development. Before joining ACE, Lintang gained valuable experience at the Climate Change Centre at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, where she also earned her BSc in Urban and Regional Planning.
