PH announces timeline for fourth green energy auction

Pre-bid evaluation will start on 23 June.

The Philippines has announced the timeline of activities for the recently commenced Fourth Round of the Green Energy Auction (GEA-4).

According to the country Department of Energy (DOE), companies have until 20 June to register as qualified suppliers. Pre-bid evaluation will officially start on 23 June with the evaluation of registration documents.

Qualified bidders will be posted on 15 July. After the pre-bid conference, the auction proper itself will end on 2 September.

Authorities will then validate submitted bids, which will then be validated and enforced before being approved by the energy secretary.

Winning bidders will be announced on 22 October, to be followed by the issuance of certificates of award on 24 November until 9 January.
