JERA expands in Bangladesh

A new office has been opened in the said country.

JERA marks its expansion in Bangladesh with the opening of its new office in Dhaka.

In a statement, the company said this development strengthens its collaboration “with local energy stakeholders to help build a resilient, sustainable energy future.”

JERA Asia CEO Izumi Kai said the region is central to its growth strategy.

“Our expansion into Bangladesh reflects a long-term view of the opportunities in the country and our commitment to work side-by-side with local partners to navigate the complexity of the energy addition and transition,” he added.

JERA Bangladesh CEO Takao Onuki said the company has been working closely with partners in Bangladesh.

Establishing enables the company to collaborate more effectively with policymakers and industry partners, he added.
