Envision ships first turbines for Fortescue's 132 MW Australian wind project
Additional turbine shipments are scheduled in the coming months.
The first batch of Envision EN-182/7.8 MW wind turbines for Fortescue's 132 MW Nullagine Wind Project has departed from China and is on its way to the Pilbara, Western Australia.
The shipment follows the successful grid connection of the project's first prototype turbine earlier this year.
Additional shipments are expected in the coming months as construction continues.
The Nullagine Wind Project is Fortescue's first major wind project in Western Australia and forms part of the company's renewable energy and decarbonisation strategy.
