Levanta Renewables achieves financial close for 166-MWp Barotac Solar and BESS project
Commercial operations targeted by mid-2027 under GEA-4 program.
Levanta Renewables has achieved Financial Close and issued the notice to proceed (NTP) for the Barotac Solar Power and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in the Visayas, Philippines.
The project comprises a 166-MWp ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) plant integrated with an 80-MWh BESS. Project financing has been secured from two leading banks.

The project was awarded a power purchase agreement (PPA) under the Philippine Department of Energy’s Green Energy Auction Program Round 4 (GEA-4) and is scheduled to begin commercial operations by mid-2027.
The Barotac Solar Power and BESS project is part of Levanta Renewables’ expanding renewable energy portfolio in Southeast Asia.
