NTPC posts record power generation in FY23

Its power generation increased 10.80% YoY to 400 billion units.

India’s largest integrated power generator NTPC reported its highest-ever power generation reaching 400 billion units in financial year (FY) 2023, increasing by 10.80% year-on-year.

In a statement, NTPC said coal production from its captive mines continues to increase, up by 65% YoY to reach 23.2 million metric tonnes. This is due to its use of high-capacity dumpers and the growth in its fleet size of excavators.
