Topline and Aesen form offshore venture for PH energy, infrastructure projects
Venture to provide vessels, marine logistics, and offshore services.
Topline Equity Corporation, through its subsidiary Topline Offshore Inc., has formed a joint venture with Singapore-based Aesen Pte. Ltd. to provide offshore marine services for renewable energy and infrastructure projects in the Philippines.
The new company, Aesen Topline Offshore Corp., was established on 8 July 2026. It will provide marine asset chartering, vessel leasing, logistics, and offshore support services for offshore wind developments, bridge construction, land reclamation, coastal development, and other marine infrastructure projects.
Topline Chairman, President, and CEO Eugene Erik Lim said the venture aims to support projects tied to an estimated P600b in planned investments in offshore wind, bridge construction, and land reclamation.
“By bringing Aesen’s decades of operational experience in offshore services to the local market, we aim to provide the specialised vessels, logistics and marine capabilities these developments will require," he said.
The joint venture combines Topline's local operations with Aesen's marine fleet and offshore services experience.
Aside from offshore support, the company will provide supply chain services, including cargo handling, transportation, customs clearance, and freight coordination for infrastructure projects.
Aesen CEO and Director Darren Ang said demand for offshore marine services is expected to grow as the Philippines expands investments in renewable energy and infrastructure.
“By expanding access to specialised marine assets and offshore capabilities in the Philippine market, we are building a platform that can support developers complete complex projects more efficiently,” he said.
The company said the venture will operate on a project basis and deploy vessels and equipment nationwide depending on project requirements.
It added that negotiations are in the final stages for several projects involving land reclamation, offshore wind, and other infrastructure developments.
