World Energy Congress meets in Korea on October 13
Will search for future leaders at the conference.
The World Energy Congress in Daegu will launch its Future Energy Leaders Programme that is aimed at attracting some of the brightest young talent from across the world.
Over 100 delegates from 44 countries, including four from the Middle East, will take part in the five-day World Energy Congress.
The event is being hosted by the World Energy Council, which consists of 93 national committees representing more than 3,000 member organizations and the WEC Daegu 2013 Organizing Committee, which represents the Council’s Korean members.
The triennial exhibition also attracts around 25,000 global energy experts from industry, governments, international organisations, academia and associations.
WEC aims to promote a sustainable energy future by fostering dialogue and debate, encouraging the development of forward-thinking energy policies and facilitates the exchange of information and ideas.
