Australia’s 380 MW solar project starts construction
The power generated from the plant will be used for hydrogen production.
The construction of the 380 megawatts (MW) Aldoga Solar Farm which is targeted to start operations in early 2024 has begun the 18-month construction period.
In a statement, Acciona Energia said the project, to be developed on land leased from the Economic Development Queensland for the next 30 years, will create around 350 construction jobs during the development period.

The electricity generated from the power plan will be delivered to Stanwell Corporation to be used in the Central Queensland Hydrogen Project.
“The Aldoga Solar Farm will be a catalyst for a vibrant hydrogen industry here in Gladstone,” said Acciona Energia Managing Director Brett Wickman.
