NHPC keen on implementing Phase-II of Uri-I
NHPC has asked GoJ&K for its consent in entrusting the Uri-I Hydroelectric Project to it for implementation.
NHPC has assured that construction of the project would be taken up only after obtaining clearances from the GoJ&K or the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, as may be required for implementation of the project.
It has relayed its plans to complete various formalities like obtaining clearances, preparation of DPR etc. simultaneously.
