Renova’s Tokushima-Tsuda biomass plant resumes operations
It will undergo improvement works and will be shut down again in September.
Japan’s Renova Inc. has announced that the Tokushima-Tsuda Biomass Power Plant, which is owned by its subsidiary Tokushima-Tsuda Biomass Power Plant G.K., resumed operations on 30 July following the completion of repairs.
In a statement, Renova said the repair was conducted based on the results of the regular inspection and maintenance work in April 2024.
The plant will again shut down in late September 2024 to late December 2024 for the installation of permanent improvements aimed at maintaining long-term stable operation, the company said.
Renova said the impact on the financial results for the fiscal year ending 31 March 2025 was already reflected in the forecast released on 8 May 2024.
