Tohoku Electric to get more power from TEPCO

TEPCO announced plans to increase the power supply to Tohoku Electric Power to more than 3,000MW this month.

Tohoku Electric lost about 1,000MW of power due to the heavy rains in July and barely managed to secure stable power supplies.

Tohoku Electric also revealed that said it will be unable to restart the three quake-hit fossil-fired units with a combined capacity of 3,396MW by this year.
