NDRC approves Yanshanshu thermal plant project

The National Development and Reform Commission approved the 2x600MW thermal plant project of Yanshanhu Power Plant aimed to expand the coal-electricity market in east Inner Mongolia.

The new project of Yanshanhu Power Plant was initiated by the CPI in Chaoyang, Liaoning Province based on the coal resources in Baiyinhua, Inner Mongolia. 2x600MW+4x1000MW air-cooling units are planned. 2x600MW air-cooling supercritical units will be built in Phase I with a total investment estimated at RMB4.6 billion.
