Lavan Thiru

Lavan Thiru, executive director at Infrastructure Asia, works closely with both the private and public sectors in Singapore and the broader region. His focus is on project origination and development to enable more sustainable infrastructure. 

Through Infrastructure Asia’s project facilitation and development efforts, several projects in Southeast Asia have successfully advanced, with some reaching completion.

Thiru has been actively involved in various initiatives on infrastructure financing, including spending over a year at Clifford Capital, a specialist in structured finance solutions. Prior to his appointment at Infrastructure Asia in April 2021, Lavan held various leadership positions at the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
