It signed contracts for 50MW and 30MW solar projects.

German power firm juwi has signed two engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts with a consortium composed of Vietnam's BIM Group and the Philippines' AC Energy.

According to an announcement, the contracts cover two solar projects with 50MW and 30MW capacity in Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam.

juwi will be responsible for operation and maintenance of the plants at least for the next five years.

Once completed, the plants are expected to add more than 125 million kWh of electricity to Vietnam’s national grid annually.

juwi has over 1 GW of solar projects already delivered or under construction or planning.
