The winning bidder will be granted O&M work that will last for three years.

NTPC launched the tender for a 15MW floating solar photovoltaic (PV) project to be located at its Koldam hydroelectric power plant (HEPP). The cells and modules can be sourced from overseas.

According to an announcement, the scope of work includes the design, engineering, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing, as well as the commission of the solar PV cells.

The bidder also has to supply floaters and the full installation of the panels and pathways corresponding to the 19.5MWp system. Operation and maintenance (O&M) services will last for three years.

NTPC will finance the project using its own resources.
