India's Suzlon to buy all of REpower
Suzlon Energy is in talks to buy the remaining nine percent stake in German unit REpower Systems AG.
"We are working toward it," Robin Banerjee, Suzlon’s chief financial officer, said at the Reuters India Investment Summit in Mumbai. He added that Suzlon had no plans to sell a stake in REpower.
Media had earlier said that Suzlon might sell up to 25 percent in REpower for $500 million.
Suzlon Energy, which holds 91 percent of REpower, is the world's third-largest wind turbine maker behind Denmark's Vestas and Spain's Gamesa.
