Tata Power arm to build 100MW solar project in Gujarat

It will be commissioned within 11 months.

Tata Power Solar Systems Limited (TPSSL) has received the letter of award of INR6.12b for a 100-megawatt ground-mounted solar project of SJVN Limited at the Paghanesda solar park plot C in Gujarat.

In a statement, Tata Power said the letter was awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding.

The bids for the project were invited earlier this year.

With the award, the total portfolio of TPSSL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, will reach 9.9 gigawatt-peak. Its current order book is INR155.2b.
