Excluding the losses from the time lag, JERA said its net income increased by JPY70.1b to JPY298.4b.

“Net income excluding time lag increased mainly due to utilization of optimization function of JERAGM, etc., despite the impact of high LNG spot prices (-114.5b yen),” the company noted in its report.
