NTPC’s power generation up 3.82% in Q3 FY 2024-2025

It added nearly 3,000 MW of installed capacity.

NTPC Ltd. generated 326 billion units of electricity by the end of third quarter of fiscal year 2024-2025, reflecting a 3.82% growth compared to the previous year.

In a statement, NTPC said its installed capacity stood at 76,598 megawatts (MW) with an addition of 2,724 MW by the end of calendar year 2024. Furthermore, 29.5 gigawatts (GW) including 9.6 GW renewable capacity, is under construction.

The company aims for 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032.

Meanwhile, NTPC coal stations achieved cumulative plant load factor of 76.20% by the end of the third quarter.
