Hai Long Offshore Wind commences 2025 installation phase

Pin piles are now installed at the first HL3 locations.

CDWE has started this year’s installation campaign for the 1 gigawatt Hai Long Offshore Wind Project.

“Building on last year’s achievements, CDWE has recently completed pin pile installation at the first HL3 locations, marking a smooth start of the execution phase,” the company said.

The Hai Long Offshore Wind is located 45 kilometres (km) to 70 km off the Changhua coast in Taiwan. It consists of Hai Long No. 2 and No. 3 wind farms, with a total installed capacity of 1,022 megawatts.
