Repower Energy logs 58% increase in H1 earnings
Its clean power generation jumped 29%.
Repower Energy Development Corporation (REDC) has reported a 58% jump in its net income to reach $2.59m (PHP 152.20m) in the first half (H1) of 2025.
In a statement, the hydropower arm of Pure Energy Holdings Corporation said its clean energy generation jumped 29% to 59.77 million kilowatt-hours, lifting revenues by 28% to $6.11m (PHP 359.61m).
“Expenses remained steady: both the cost of electricity sales and operating overhead were kept in check through tighter plant operations, high availability, proactive maintenance, and procurement efficiencies,” the company said.
“Favourable hydro conditions and minimal natural disasters also contributed to the company's strong H1 performance,” it added.
REDC said it remains on track for its targeted third quarter 2025 commissioning of its Cabanglasan Hydropower Plant in Bukidnon. This is expected to more than double the company's generation capacity and further boost revenues.
