India’s Suzlon profit surges 53% in 2026 on wind energy boom
The company recorded a net wind energy volumes of 2,456 MW.
India's Suzlon Energy reported a net profit of INR3,163 crore for financial year (FY) 2026, up 53% from the year prior, on higher revenue and wind energy deliveries.
The company said in its financial report that revenue from operations rose 54% year on year to INR16,679 crore, whilst earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 63% to INR3,022 crore.
It also reported quarterly gains in the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY 2026, with profit increasing 150% to INR1,114 crore, and revenue rising 29% to INR5,468 crore, whilst EBITDA rose 31% to INR964 crore.
Suzlon reported net wind energy volumes of 2,456 megawatts (MW) for FY 2026, compared with 1,550 MW in FY 2025.
Quarterly volumes stood at 830 MW in Q4 FY 2026, compared with 617 MW in the third quarter and 573 MW in Q4 FY 2025.
The company’s order book stood at around 5.9 gigawatts (GW), with 66% of orders from public sector undertakings, and commercial and industrial customers.
It said the S144 platform recorded cumulative orders of around 9 GW.
Suzlon reported a net cash position of INR2,384 crore as of 31 March 2026.
The company cited peak power demand above 270 GW in India, and renewable energy capacity of about 280 GW, as market conditions during the period.
