Philippines' energy agency clears 7 renewable projects

These have been approved to proceed with grid impact studies.

Philippines' Department of Energy has cleared 7 renewable energy projects to mvoe forward with grid impact studies. These projects are expected to generate 564MW.

Three of these are wind energy projects to be developed by Currimao Solar Energy Corp. Three others are solar projects whilst one is a battery energy storage project.

The GIS is a required step for energy projects to determine if the generated electricity can be absorbed by the grid.
