Adaro’s net profit slips 12% to $880m in H1

Revenue decreased by 15% to $2.97b in the period.

PT Adaro Energy Indonesia’s (Adaro) net profit for the first half of the year (H1) fell by 12% to $880m from $996m in H1 2023.

Revenue for the period reflected a 15% decrease to $2.97b from $3.48b, whilst gross profit slipped by 16% to $1.2b.

Meanwhile, the group’s basic earnings per share (EPS) went down 10% to $0.025 in H1 from $0.028.
