RATCH Group subsidiary completes hydropower investment

This means the unit will now be dissolved.

RATCH Group Public Company Limited has announced that its subsidiary has completed its investment in the Xekong 4A and 4B Hydroelectric Power Projects in Lao PDR.

Following this transaction, RATCH said it has registered the dissolution of its subsiduary Sekong Investment Advisory Co., Ltd. on 5 March. This development is not expected to affect the company’s operations.

Sekong Investment Advisory was formed to support the investment in the hydropower projects with an installed capacity of 355 megawatts on 8 July 2022. RATCH  then established Xekong 4 Power Co., Ltd. (XK4) on 7 December 2023 to develop and operate the project. Additionally,

XK4 signed a power purchase Agreement with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand on 25 December 2023.
