India adds over 4.5 GW of solar and wind power in March

Over 3,000 MW came from solar.

India installed 4,529 megawatts (MW) of solar and wind capacity in March, according to JMK Research & Analytics.

Its latest data showed that solar power accounted for 3,080 (MW) and wind for 1,449 MW.

Rajasthan added the highest utility-scale solar capacity, with around 638 MW, followed by Maharashtra, with 512 MW.

Meanwhile, Karnataka installed the highest wind capacity, with bout 473 MW, followed by Madhya Pradesh, with 351 MW.
