India's Suzlon wins 100 MW wind project from GAIL
It will be developed in Nandurbar, Maharashtra.
Suzlon Group has secured a wind energy project of about 100 MW from Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL).
This marks Suzlon’s sixth project win from GAIL and its fourth PSU order in the current fiscal year (FY26), following contracts from NTPC, BPCL, and AMC.
The project will be developed in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, and will support the decarbonisation of GAIL’s upcoming petrochemical plant.
Suzlon will supply and install 47 S120 wind turbine generators (2.1 MW each) and handle commissioning as well as operations and maintenance.
The company currently holds over 2.2 GW installed capacity in Maharashtra, with a market share of around 38%.
