Reliance Power names new CEO and director
Neeraj Parakh has been with the company for over 20 years.
Reliance Power has appointed Neeraj Parakh as its chief executive officer and executive director, subject to the approval of members.
In a bourse filing, the company said his appointment was effective 20 January for three years.
Parakh has 29 years of professional experience, including more than 20 years with Reliance, wherein he helped in delivering large-scale projects such as Yamuna Nagar, Hisar, Rosa, Sasan, Butibori, Damodar Valley Corporation, as well as renewable energy ventures like Solar PV and Solar CSP.
These projects collectively contribute over 10 GW of power generation at a capital expenditure of INR 50,000 crore, the company said.
