Japan's nuclear power plant usage rate fell to 20.6% in September

The average run rate was 66.7% a year ago, according to Reuters.

According to a Reuters report, the numerous reactors that were kept shut since the Fukushima crisis are causing these depressing figures.

The September run rate fell from 26.4 percent in August and marked the lowest since comparable data began to be compiled in April 1977, said the report.
