Repairs have CEM lowering Guangdong power importation

Macau reduced its power importation from Guangdong in half to cope with repairs at the Zhuhai Supply Bureau.

A request to lower the importation was made by the Guangdong Power Grid to CEM before repairs were carried out at the Zhuhai transmission towers. The repairs started last September 11 and 12 and  will continue on through the 22nd, 23rd and 24th.

To ensure the power supply reliability, CEM immediately activated the internal emergency measures. All generators of Macau including those from the Macau Power Station are in full gear operation to cope with the emergency situation.
CEDM assured that the incident will not create any impact to the power supply of Macau.
